The Family Hotel “Gelov” is located in the center of Berkovitza. It was commissioned in 2012. The hotel has 20 rooms, 12 of which are double ones, 2 apartments with a bedroom, 4 studios and a two-room apartment with a capacity for 5 people. The apartment consists of: one bedroom, a living room, kitchenette, bathroom with a tub and two terraces. All the hotel rooms are equipped with modern toilets, telephone, cable TV, internet, and a terrace. The guests enjoy an on-site restaurant, sauna and gym. If you decide to visit us, you will be charmed by our panorama terrace with a magnificent view of the hewn cliffs of the Vratza Balkan, the legendary TodoriniTowers, Petrohan saddle, Kom summit, Zdravchenitza cabin, and to the north-west – Chiprovsko Kraishte and Ogosta reservoir. Berkovitza is a very peaceful town. It is the perfect relaxation place for families with children. It is great to take a walk that could include a visit to the house-museum of Ivan Vazov, which is one of the 100 national historical sites, the “St. Nicholas Miracle Worker” church, the Clock Tower, Haydushki Waterfalls, “Kaleto” locality, the ethnographic museum, art gallery and, of course, the Kom summit. The Klisura and Lopushan monasteries, as well as the Belogradchik cliffs, are just a few kilometers away from town.
