Family Hotel 'Gelov' is set right in the centre of Berkovitsa. It opened its doors in 2012. The hotel has 20 rooms - double, apartments for a couple with children, studios, and a two-room apartment up to 5 people. The apartment consists of a bedroom, living room with a kitchen corner (separated), bathroom with tub and toilet, and 2 terraces. This charming is so laid back and peaceful town that it makes an ideal place for being with children. It is suitable for a relaxing walk, including visits to the House-Museum of Ivan Vazov (one of the 100 national historical sites), Church "St.Nikola Wonderworker", Clock tower ("Saat kulla"), Water terrains Haidushki waterfalls and area Kaleto, Ethnographic Museum, Art Gallery as well as Kom peak. The Klisurski Monastery, the Lopushanski Monastery, and as well are situated a few kilometers from the town of Belogradchik.
